The Iranzo Perez–Duque and last names are in the Utiel-Requena immediately after the conquest of these lands from the Moors by Ferdinand III King of Castile in the thirteenth century.
In 1429, the family Iranzo, receives from King Juan II of Castile, of nobility.
In 1646 Pedro Yuste Iranzo received from King Philip IV of Habsburg, enforceable by which he was appointed Constable of the Town of Utiel, with privilege of dagger and sword.
Respect to Perez–Duque family in Requena history written in 1890 by Enrique Herrero and Moral, it is said, describing the houses emblazoned from the medieval city: “the so-called Palace, known by Fernando Perez–Duque , … the gentlemen whose inherited as linked to the first settlers gentlemen. “
Current house Iranzo Pérez-Requena Duke family was built in 1794 and is cataloged as a Cultural Interest by the Generalitat Valenciana.
S. XVIII. In various tax records Iranzo various members of the family as vineyard owners appear.
1896.‘s Documented ownership of a winery producing wines in Caudete by D. Victor Iranzo, ancestor of the present owners of Bodegas Iranzo.
1948. D. Enrique Iranzo, father of the current owners of Bodegas Iranzo, begins bottling wines under the “Cañada Honda.”
1994. Iranzo Perez–Duque’s family makes its first bottling of wines with guarantee of organic farming.
Current house Iranzo Pérez-Requena Duke family was built in 1794 and is cataloged as a Cultural Interest by the Generalitat Valenciana (Spain)
